As you have probably seen or heard already, the School Board approved Plan B for reopening schools for the upcoming school year.
Your family will have a couple of choices. PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st grade may attend daily if desired. 2nd grade through 5th grade will be on an alternating face to face and remote schedule one week at a time.
Children with IEPs may attend every day if the family chooses.
Any student's family may choose 100% virtual.
At Nebo, we have been working hard this week to contact families that indicated on the family survey that they would choose virtual. If you have not heard from the school this week and you would like for your child to be 100% virtual for this coming school year, please contact the school on Monday before 5:00 pm at 828-652-4737. If you cannot reach us, you may email Mrs. Croymans at Jennifer.croymans@mcdowell.k12.nc.us anytime this weekend or message us on our Facebook page at Nebo Elementary School.
For planning purposes, we need to know by Monday if your child will be participating 100% virtually or face to face on the schedule assigned to the grade level.
