Meet Mrs. Sills

Hi everyone!  I am the Title 1 Reading teacher, Academic Facilitator, and MTSS coordinator here at North Cove.  I have always grown up in this beautiful community and I love the close family atmosphere we have in our school.  This is my 24th year in education.  Reading has always been a passion of mine and I enjoy sharing that love of reading with students.  I received my Bachelor's degree at Appalachian State University and years later I earned my Master's degree in Reading at East Carolina University.  My husband Jason and I are blessed with 2 sons, Hunter and Rylan.  Hunter is in his second year at Appalachian State and Rylan is entering the 9th grade.  I look forward to working with families this year and seeing children make great gains in their reading! 

**Please read with your child daily!  It is so important to instill that love of reading at an early age.  Encourage them to talk to you about what they have read.
