Monday, April 8 is a great opportunity to learn about a solar eclipse in real-time, which should begin around 1:50 pm. The eclipse will peak in our ares around 3:10 pm and end by 4:30 pm. We ecourage students to follow safety guideline recommended by NASA and remind them never to look directly at the sun without specialized eye protecteion for solar viewing. Parents we encourage you to use this opportunity to talk with your child about the eclipse and necessary safety precautions. This is an exciting event; for more information on the solar eclipse, use the following link: https://science.nasa.gov/eclipses/safety/
